Website & Airtable Support

Virtual | Up to 4 hours/month | Flexible schedule | Regular check-ins with ED

Role Overview

Support Birthday Connections' digital infrastructure by maintaining our Wix website and optimizing our Airtable database. Your tech skills keep our online presence current and help us manage data efficiently so we can celebrate more Kansas City families.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and update content on our Wix website.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure optimal performance.

  • Provide guidance on Airtable database management and optimization.

  • Help streamline workflows between our Birthday Market platform and administrative systems.

  • Recommend improvements to enhance user experience for families, partners, and donors.

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency with Wix platform (website building, editing, and maintenance).

  • Working knowledge of Airtable or similar database management systems.

  • Comfortable identifying and implementing updates as needed.

Finance Committee

Be our "online window shopper." Discover and curate gift ideas that keep our Birthday Market fresh, exciting, and stocked with great selections for every child.

What You'll Do

  • Research and identify new gift options across a range of ages, interests, and price points.

  • Suggest additions to the Birthday Market platform based on trends, quality, and value.

  • Ensure gift selections reflect diverse interests and inclusive representation.

  • Share findings and recommendations with the Executive Director.

  • Understanding of children's interests across age groups.
