Fundraising & Event Planning

Hybrid  |  3-8 hours/month  |  Flexible schedule  |  Led by Fundraising Chair | Meetings as necessary

Role Overview

As part of our Fundraising & Event Planning Team, you’ll work alongside board members and other volunteers to brainstorm, plan, and execute fundraising initiatives.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Brainstorm creative fundraising ideas with board members and other volunteers.

  • Build a list of potential community funding initiatives such as give-back nights, one-time events, etc.

  • Help bring ideas to life by assisting with event planning and coordination, logistics, timelines, vendor coordination, and day-of execution.

  • Assist with tracking event success with help measuring outcomes and celebrating wins.

What We're Looking For​

Creative thinker who enjoys brainstorming and problem-solving.

  • Comfortable collaborating with a team of board members and volunteers.

  • Organized, with an eye for logistics and event details.

  • Flexible availability for occasional in-person event support.

Day of Events

In-Person | Hours vary by event | Flexible schedule | Led by fundraising chair | Minimal supervision required

Role Overview

As a Day of Events volunteer, you'll be the hands-on support that helps our fundraising and community events run smoothly from setup to breakdown so our team can focus on connecting with guests and celebrating our mission.

What You’ll Do​

  • Assist with event setup: tables, signage, decorations, and materials.

  • Greet and check in guests and help direct attendee flow.

  • Support event activities as needed (raffles, registration tables, photo stations, etc.).

  • Help with breakdown and cleanup at the end of the event.

  • Report volunteer hours after each event.

What We’re looking for

  • Friendly and comfortable interacting with guests.

  • Reliable and punctual and able to commit to the full event window once signed up.

  • Ability to lift and move event materials (tables, boxes, supplies).

  • Team player willing to jump in wherever help is needed.

  • Open to volunteers ages 15 and up; minors must be accompanied by a guardian.
